As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you are the Anchor of our ship. You understand that producing quality products and services runs through our veins, acting responsibly is our heart beat, creating Memorable Moments is our pulse and empowerment is the air that we breathe.
You will assist the Housekeeping Manager where necessary, this can be with making the schedule, checking the hours in our time registration system, but also checking the room status and directing and coaching the Supervisors. The hotel has 476 colourful rooms, so you will cover a lot of ground within this department! (#freefitness).

This is what you will be doing:
- Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in our 476 guestrooms
- Operationally responsible for all guestrooms, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manage
- Directly managing and coaching the Housekeeping Supervisors
- Active involvement in the departmental training program as well as delivering on the job trainings
- Responsible for mid-year and annual reviews as part of overall performance management
- Responsible for the smooth running of the linen room and uniform room
- Keeping the fun factor alive within the team, as this is what keeps our team motivated and energised in this physically challenging profession
- Ensuring good working relationships with the Front Office and other departments from the very beginning
What you bring to the table:
- You have a hands-on mentality
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in leading a team of Housekeeping Supervisors
- Experience with PMS is required
- You are passionate about Housekeeping & cleanliness in general
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written; Dutch would be a bonus!
- Excellent people skills and the ability to train and motivate a multicultural team
- You are looking for a fulltime job
