The Application Engineer has a solid knowledge and expertise in HEXAGON SIG solutions to perform pre-sales activities such products demonstration or benchmark and post-sales activities consisting in products and solutions development and implementation, customer’s support , training, consultancy and project tasks.
He/She will analyse, design, implement and support high level HEXAGON SIG software applications for mission critical environments in the industries we serve : Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water, …) and Telecommunications (Fiber Optic …).
The applicant would have to deliver high quality software by working in a team Agile/Scrum environment.
- Maintain and develop HEXAGON SIG products and technology high expertise
- Strive to acquire expertise and domain knowledge in the industries we serve
- Maintain and develop personal effectiveness
- Technical analyses and feasibility studies
- Participate in work estimation for services proposals
- Prepare and give HEXAGON SIG products demonstrations or seminars
- Implement HEXAGON SIG solutions into customers production environments
- Provide customers support in their implementation and usage of HEXAGON SIG products
- Provide training and technical consultancy services on HEXAGON SIG products suite
- Provide development, documentation and support for locally developed codes
- University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science
- Initial experience of at least 5 years in software development / application support.
- Strong experience in software solutions implementation / Integration
- Software development skills
- Software development Language : Dot Net Core, C#
- Database (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
- Web technologies knowledge (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, API ASP.NET…)
- Analytical ability, Problems solving, Results driven
- Team player
- Able to plan and carry out multiple work assignments while respecting deadlines
- Communication skills
- Languages skills : English + Dutch / French
